Ally's book "Doing Business in the United States, A Handbook for Swiss Women" was supported and promoted by the Swiss government. Switzerlan'd former Ministry of foreign Affairs and President, Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey, who attended and was guest speaker at the grand opening of the organization in NYC. In support of women's leadership, The Swiss Stock Exchange and several Swiss banks hosted conferences for the presentation of the book. Ally wrote and published the very first edition of this document. Since then, several editions have been published by the Swiss Business Hub. Today, this handbook is used by hundreds of Swiss food and beverage to navigate the complex food retailing industry of the United States.
While Global Business Director for the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Ally Gunduz established the first New York -Turkey Task Force to explore and strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations. Patners included: the Office of the Governor of New York (D. Paterson), and the Mayor of New York City (M. As Trade Commisison of the Swiss Consulate in New York City, Ally created the first Swiss Women's Small Business Ownership Department within the government of Switzerland through the Swiss Consulate General in New York, NY.
In 2004, The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce honoured Ally Gunduz with the International Business Service Award.
